Principal Consultant

Mark Davis

In 1991 with a background in education, Mark left Head of RE in a Catholic Secondary School to found ‘TIME + SPACE’ – an ecumenical charity devoted to promoting spiritual conversation among adult Christians.

In 1992 he became one of very few Roman Catholics to train as a Local Preacher with the Methodist Church.

   
* From 1993 – 1996 in collaboration with Br. Francis Hall, Mark set up and ran the Christian Brothers’ Schools Resource Centre, which was concerned with the handing on of the charism of Edmund Rice to lay colleagues in CB Schools.
   
* From 1995 became advisor to a large Grant-making Charitable Trust.
   
* From 2000 became a facilitator for the Conference of Religious – currently working with the Discalced Carmelite Friars.
   
* From 2002 member of the Bishops Conference Working Party concerned with Spirituality and the Local Church.
   
* Recently completed a research project into Parish Development in East Anglia RC Diocese.
   
* 2002 author of a book on the facilitation of faith-sharing groups called ‘Walking On The Shore – a way of sharing faith in groups’, published by Matthew James Publishing.

John Mannix

Currently Director of Schools for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Plymouth, John is a highly regarded Conference Speaker and animator with specialist insight into organisational culture and the way it affects the development of Christian communities.

Anne Topping

Presently Training and Development Co-ordinator for Pastoral Care and Christian Education/ Formation in Ministry for the Methodist Church, Anne is highly skilled in working with groups. Her aim is to help people realise their full potential as individuals or members of groups.

With wide experience of both the world of business and the local church, Phil is an accomplished facilitator, trainer and consultant. Though notionally ‘retired’ he continues to assist small organisations to embrace more collaborative styles of working. He is also deeply involved in parish development within the RC Diocese of Salford.

Highly regarded as a Person-centred Counsellor, Maddy works as a trainer and business analyst for BT. Former leader of a lay Christian Community - ‘Fondacio’ –she is also an excellent facilitator,

Sr. Margaret Soper

An Ursuline Sister of Brentwood Diocese, Margaret draws upon her wide personal experience in education, pastoral work and spiritual accompaniment to enrich the training offered by this Consultancy.
